april 2011

I am so ready for spring.
Also, for the record, there is a perfectly good reason for being on chat with your coworker who sits just over a four-foot partition. What if there is an exceptionally cute link to be shared? What if you need them to be a thesaurus but don't want to interrupt them to discuss? What if you want to swap frustrated sighs about nearby coworkers? See? Not weird.

  1. Oh, did you see???! Did you see what stupid Michigan did to us on Monday? Or maybe you got the snowstorm later too. Disgusting. But I love panel 2 :D

And gmail-chat is incredibly useful and great, I'm with you! (but I can't relate to using it to talk to someone within talking distance. unfortunately everyone is far far away from me :( ) Although my use of it may be degrading my real-life conversational skills... I get used to "conversations" where I can take my sweet time to respond while I go downstairs to make lunch, or let it just trail off if I run out of things to say...

    Great comics, as ever! :D

  3. Yeah, I totally do... *^_^*
For me, I think it's the interruption thing. If you get up to talk to someone, they have to stop what they're doing, and sometimes the things we chat about are just silly. So I'd rather send someone a chat rather than interrupt them. That way, they can respond in their own time. It makes sense, right??

    Lys understands ^_~
